The short version. Your gap assessment runs on your phone and is never sent to us. If you ask us to write a program for you, we keep your business contact details and what you asked for, so we can reply and do the work. We do not collect health information about you or anyone who works for you. We do not sell anything to anyone.

What the app does on your device only

These never leave your phone, are not transmitted to us, and are not backed up to our servers:

Your gap assessment answers. The questions about chemicals, confined spaces, noise, machinery and headcount, and the results calculated from them.
Your training matrix and renewal dates. Including any reminder dates you enter.
Your 29 CFR searches. The regulation text is bundled in the app; searching it involves no network request and no logging.

If you delete the app, this information is deleted with it.

What we collect, and when

If you request a program or a quote

At that point — and only then — we collect what you type into the request form:

Your assessment answers, attached to the request	So you don't retype them. This describes your operation — never a named person

We use this to respond to your request, prepare a proposal, carry out the work, and follow up about it. We may contact you about your request. We will not add you to a marketing list without asking.

Anonymous session identifier

The app creates an anonymous account on your device so it can talk to our servers securely and limit abuse. It contains no personal information and is not linked to you unless you choose to create an account or submit a request.

If you create an account

We store your email address and an encrypted password so you can sign in and keep your saved work. An account is optional — the entire free part of the app works without one.

If you email us about a program

To request a standard written program, the app opens your own mail app with a message already drafted to support@continuumimprovement.com. Nothing is sent until you press send, and you can edit or delete any of it first. When you do send it, we receive whatever the message contains — normally your company, your name, a phone number and what you are dealing with.

If you pay us for written work

There are no purchases in this app. Nothing is bought, unlocked or paid for inside it. When you ask us to write a program, we confirm it suits your operation, then invoice you separately — by invoice or a payment link we send you. If you pay by card through that link, the card details go to our payment processor and never to us; we receive confirmation of payment and the amount.

What we do not collect

No health or medical information. Not yours, not your employees'. No audiogram results, no fit-test records, no medical clearances, no injury records, no exposure monitoring tied to an individual.
No employee names. The assessment asks about your operation, not your people.
No location tracking. We ask what city you're in; we do not read your device's location.
No advertising identifiers, and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
No contacts, photos, microphone or camera access.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not trade it.

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract, and only to run this service:

Supabase — database and authentication hosting
Stripe — payment processing, for invoices we send you outside the app
Apple — app distribution only. The app contains no in-app purchases, so Apple receives no payment information from us about you.

We may disclose information if we are legally required to, or to protect someone's safety.

Confidentiality of your safety information

What you tell us about your operation is commercially sensitive, and we treat it that way. It is used to do the work you asked for and nothing else. We do not publish it, cite it as a case study, or discuss it with anyone outside Continuum Improvement LLC without your written permission.

If you would like a non-disclosure agreement in place before you tell us anything, tick that box on the request form, or write to us. We are glad to sign one, and to sign yours.

How long we keep it

Requests and correspondence: for as long as we are working with you, and then for seven years, because professional work of this kind may need to be evidenced later.
Account details: until you ask us to delete the account.
On-device data: until you delete the app.

Your rights

Whoever and wherever you are, you may ask us to:

tell you what we hold about you
correct anything wrong
delete your account and your data
send you a copy of your data
stop contacting you

Write to support@continuumimprovement.com and we will act within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA or similar law. We apply the rights above to everyone rather than by region. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls that restrict each account to its own records. No system is perfect, and we would rather say so than promise otherwise. If we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will tell you.

Children

This is a tool for workplaces. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will say so in the app rather than quietly amending this page.

Not professional advice

The app identifies possible gaps against 29 CFR. It is not legal advice, and it is not a compliance determination or a substitute for a qualified assessment of your own workplace. Written programs we supply must be adapted to your facility and reviewed by someone competent to do so.
